Clinical thinking before clinical tools.
Dr Luhard’s teaching is built around a simple principle: the value of a treatment depends on the quality of the assessment, the appropriateness of the indication and the discipline of follow-up.
As co-founder of MedBase, he helps medical colleagues translate evolving science and fragmented information into clear clinical frameworks. The purpose is not to create protocol dependence. It is to strengthen each practitioner’s ability to reason independently and responsibly.
Peptide medicine
Peptide medicine is a developing field that attracts significant interest as well as considerable noise. Dr Luhard’s educational approach emphasises mechanisms, realistic expectations, patient selection, evidence limitations, product and regulatory context, monitoring and responsible communication.
Medically assisted weight management
Medical weight management is taught as longitudinal care rather than a prescription event. The framework includes baseline assessment, treatment selection, tolerability, body-composition change, behavioural support, preservation of lean mass, monitoring and long-term strategy.
Medical aesthetics
In aesthetic medicine, Dr Luhard’s focus is on consultation, facial assessment, proportion, patient selection and natural treatment planning. Technique is taught within the broader responsibilities of consent, safety, expectation management and follow-up.
Mentoring medical colleagues
Through MedBase, Dr Luhard teaches in small groups and contributes to practical courses across aesthetics, peptides and anti-ageing practice. His role is to help doctors build systems they can use in real practice—not simply collect information.
